The Stables
A studio apartment sits above a genuine mudbrick games room, ochre red, with traces of straw in the walls, exposed industrial style beams overhead, concrete underfoot and stable doors at one end.
We love it! So much so, that we bought a "David Brodie" one of a kind pool table and bar for it. The 39" LED tv and sound bar are (carefully!) installed so you can watch your favourite sport whilst enjoying a game of pool. The bathroom/laundry is on the ground floor and has been completely renovated. A staircase leads up to the gabled studio, with wooden floorboards, industrial style exposed wooden beams, and filtered views from the balcony (with bbq) over the dam and towards Mt Eerwah.
Accommodation upstairs is open plan and comprises a gabled dining area and gabled Queen bed with a living area with a sofa bed (with 29" LED TV), kitchen and balcony inbetween.
The Stables does not have access to the fenced "home" garden directly in front of Magnolia Cottage but has shared access to the rest of the grounds including the dam (which is not fenced) and a fire pit.
Recent guest reviews...Janelle, AirBNB, August 2018A beautiful space. The Stables is light filled through the day and cosy comfortable at night. The dam was fun for my son. It was a wonderful relaxing space to take a break.
Kylie, AirBNB, July 2018Amazing little piece of heaven. Thank you so much for sharing your home, we had a most relaxing time.
